Found this over at Android Central - App Overload - Take control of the Android Market with AppBrain. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like it could make finding and installing apps a lot easier.

Seems like it would help. Personally, I think you should be able to browse the market from your pc. It would save a lot of time and battery power!

I just gave AppBrain a quick test drive and from what I have seen, it's a major improvement to the task of finding and installing applications. Simple set up and the convenience of accessing the Market from your PC's browser to mark apps to be installed and manage your existing apps. I highly recommend it.

Androlib is just that. The market on your PC. The stats seem to be somewhat off sometimes but the list is accurate and easy to search.
