I have updated my Moto Droid to Firmware 2.1-Update 1 yesterday.  Tried sending me link message to my phone via -

http://www.google.com/earth   so I could download it per instructions, but when accessing the text link, phone screen indicated "SORRY something ..." then the screen went black.  I waited for 30 minutes, but did not come back.  I just pressed the HOME button to make it go back to my home screen.  I noticed that there was no such GOOGLE EARTH MOBILE on the MARKET, but Google Earth website shows Droid phones could avail of such application with Firmware 2.1 - see Google Earth websites - http://www.google.com/mobile/earth/ and http://earth.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=174898.  Is there anything I should do to make the download successful?  I tried unchecking the "Block pop-up windows", checked "Enable JavaScript" and "Enable plug-ins" on the browser settings with no sucess.  Any input from anybody if GOOGLE EARTH MOBILE is really now supported on Moto Droid Firmware 2.1 as shown on the website?

@Ferdie - It's a known issue. Try this: Google Earth For 2.0.1 And Non-Rooted Users

Thx mrmaxmonkey for the post on the 30 gr8 apps for android, I am spending the last few days knowing no more mo soon for me. I have enjoyed the fun, flashing, tweaking on mo now it's time to move to Android. Just waiting for my HTC Incredible Droid to arrive this week and will start trying these applications out.

is there an app that lets you print out text messages from your droid phone... i need it as evidance in court tomorrow

Can't you forward the text message as an e-mail and then print it from your computer?

Sorry didn't see your message earlier!  There is an app called PrintShare Droid by Mobile dynamix. Get the one that is free and download it. You should be able to print your text messages from that app.
