How do I get this crapware off of my Android phone?  Bing is more than useless, and must go.

Just set your browser home page to www.google.com and use that.  After starting your browser you never see bing again.

Sorry, it is not going to happen.

You can download the Google search widget from the Market.

The search engine assigned to the capacitive search button can't be changed.

I agree with Leonthedruid! I bought my phone expecting all Google products and they were working great for the last month, then all of a sudden today my browsers default search engine was Bing. GIVE ME BACK MY GOOGLE. I searched for Verizon Wireless and Bing told me "No Results Found". I had to fight heaven & earth to finally figure out how to get Google search to find it. Finally 3 Hours later (after I already did what I needed to do on Google) Bing recognized "Verizon Wireless". I was using my browsers search box so I'm so happy to learn that my (LG Enlightens) search key still goes directly to Google (for now at least, I fear an upgrade). I will no longer use my browsers search engine now that it is Bing. Verizon should really think about finding a way to start testing it's products first BEFORE forcing people to use them. Make an App, put it on the marke,t and if you get less than 50% of the users complaining about i,t than think about making it default on the phones (but NOT before disclaiming it to the customers please). After stopping their unlimited data plans and new every two contract, I'm finding more and more disappointments that may end my years of loyalty to Verizon.

And anytime I'm in my browser it diverts to Bing. Even though my Google HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY HOME PAGE. I put something in my Google and it diverts to Bing and its crappy "No results found".
