Using another sms app and now can not recieve pics in text,using a LG vortex anyway to get the stock messaging 2.2.2 back Thanks

All you have to do is uninstall the one you dont want to use and open the stock app...  Or you can go the Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / (Apps Name) / Clear Default.

I think the OP was saying they deleted the stock messaging app, and they are trying to get it back.

 

To the OP - It's completely gone from your app drawer and everything? I didn't know you could delete that, since you can't remove pre-installed apps on smartphones. Check to make sure you didn't just delete a shortcut or anything.
