Easy quick question, if you clear data on HTC Email program does it erase the program itself?

I need to do this to clear up some memory but obviously do not want to email program to disappear!

I just tried it. I went to clear data for the Email app. Then I went back to the Email and it asks to re-put in the email address. So yes it does erase the account. You can just put it back in though
