What alerts will my phone get?  Are the local weather, etc, alerts included, or only National events (Duck and Cover)?

Seriously.

Droid X has an Emergency Alert App.  Can't uninstall.  Thought it was ICE thing to start till I went to settings.

Presidential Alerts are mandatory, Extreme Treat, Severe Treat, AMBER alerts are optional.

Wondering if it uses tower location for alerts, or only get National events?

From what I have read on it, it's only for National Emergencies.  If you want localized alerts Weather Channel has an Alert program.
