I use the Facebook for Android app, along with a link to the regular online FB site. Recently, I've noticed that on the FB app, some posts seem to disappear. For example, earlier today, I noticed a friend's status update. I was busy and couldn't respond at that time, so when I went to look for it about an hour later, it was gone. Then, the next time I checked, it was back. (She didn't remove it and repost it.) Is this simply another FB issue?? Or an app issue?
Does anyone have any ideas about a better app for FB? One that does almost everything the regular site does?

Try Facebook touch or just use a direct connect to Facebook normal site. Trust me its the app. Not the phone.

I realize it's not the phone. I'm enjoying my Droid X.

i don't care for the touch version either (because of the random order and it seems to be hours behind). i use the mobile version sometimes, if the app is acting up (often). www.m.facebook.com. it's the best alternative to the app in my opinion.

When I use the Touch Facebook site, I use the "Most Recent" version of the wall instead of the "News" version, which is how the page loads by default. The posts seem to be in correct order that way (to me, anyway).
At the top of the wall where it says "News", click "News" and the page will re-load as "Most Recent".
Of course, I'm ASSuming that this hasn't been tried yet. If so, sorry for the redundancy.
All of the Facebook interfaces, in general, STINK. I've never used a site or service that has been so discombobulated (yes, that is a word somewhere...). Touch site, full site, app, no matter.

Yeah its a lack of support on Facebook side. Most there facebook apps suck, the Iphone one seems to be a little more better than the one for BB or Android but still needs improvement.

thx gerio. i never realized that. i just quit using the touch site because of the delay and randomness of it, but always liked using it as it shows pics, etc...unlike the mobile site.

Actually, I need to clarify some of this...
Where I said to look for "News" near the top of the wall, that should be "News Feed".
Sorry for the confusion,
