Does anyone know a way to get rid of unwanted applications like kindle, skype, or vz navigator?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Unfortunately the pre-loaded applications can not be un-installed without voiding your warranty.

Seems to be generic canned in responses...you know what I like about forums??? People talking back, not robots.

What has my skivvies in a knot is that with the last update apps were added and I had no say in the matter. When I bought the phone I was aware that there were apps that I would not use/be able to delete and I understood that when I signed the contract. I can not find in the contract where apps could arbitrarily be added and no opportunity to accept or decline. I have no problem with OTA updates to improve OS/SW but adding bloatware is a crock of krap! The store sales rep I talked to gave me "alot of people wanted those apps". I told him I am part of the "alot of people" and I do not want the apps. He just gave the eyes in the headlamps stare and I walked out the door before my blood pressure elevated to steaming.
As I stated on another thread, I still find it puzzling that the "professionals" here will not admit that there was a big problem with the last update to the Ally.

I don't know why that would be puzzling. A true professional tows the party line.
