is it overkill to get a second 16gb sd card? i want to know if it will slow the droid down because of the xtra space that the phone is now required to scan. i would like a second card for my music, gameboy rom's, and ebooks.

I've got to find some EBooks for this iPhone, I really want to read Harry Potter on the go without looking like a highschool chum with a huge backpack for carrying them all. Unfortunately I can't find any.

Not my music AndroidMike... I'm lucky to have 100 songs and those are like 5 years old! I have a few gigs of AudioBooks that I'm too lazy to read (already read them once)... WoT audiobooks if anyone understands the abbreviation!!

Ah, yes, I see what you mean -- Twidroid is popular for doing this. sorry, more clarification coming up.... i have an enormous mp3 library, now reaching 6gb. i was looking to replace the cards just for music only and possibly putting ebooks on there too along with any info/app for an ebook reader program, and my gameboy advance rom's, which when i am finished going through the website i am currently scrolling in, might reach a couple gigs (assuming they are playable on the droid) will doing this (and i understand that i will not be able to access any of the other apps i have installed) but will there be problems by doing this. cuz some apps require the usage of other apps and so forth and so forth.

Unless I missed something, the Droid only has one SD slot. So there would be no extra space being scanned. You would have to remove the SD card that's already in the phone to put another one in. I don't think there is anything stopping you from swapping out the cards, but many, if not most, apps store data to the SD card, so they would most likely not function properly if it was swapped. I suppose you could clone one card to the other and only delete/add the specific files you want on each card. Sorry if I misunderstood you question.

Ebooks for the iphone??????? How about the Kindle app, the Barnes and Noble app, the Shortcovers app, audible app, or anyone of the others I have been patiently waiting to get for my future Android phone.
