How to Delete an App Installed by Verizon

I see several threads on how to delete apps that are downloaded, but how do you delete an app that was installed by Verizon before I received the phone? For example, the Corporate Calendar.

1) They aren't installed by Verizon, they are native applications that come with Android OS. 2) You can't delete native apps such as Corporate Calendar, Amazon, Youtube, etc.

If you read the stickied thread at the top you would have seen that answer 😕

Thanks for the prompt. but unfortunate news. That seems a really silly way to do things.

I did read the sticky. Now my old eyes find the text here a little hard to read, but I do not see that answer there.

From the thread above:

Inow have a Amazon MP3 app on my Droid that I did not add but I can't find a way to delete it, any suggestions?

You cannot delete native Apps such as Amazon, Messaging, and Youtube.

And, it's not so bad, they end up being useful from time to time anyway. Very similar to the iPhone's way of doing things, you can't delete the compass/YouTube/Gallery apps as well.

They are just propietary to the OS, and yadda yadda yadda.

Hopefully someone will be able to design a folder to put unused proprietary apps in.

You can create your own folders.  It is kind of aggrivating to me just because it is a waste of space.  I have been going to a great deal of trouble to figure out which apps are going to be useful and which I just won't use so I have room for a lot of fun frivolous stuff just to entertain myself.  LOL.  The Youtube app seems useless since it doesn't recognize my subscriptions.  I don't want to search for new videos of my subscriptions that is why I subscribed.  Calculator is useless I downloaded a scientific calculator which is far more useful.  The music player skips with my mp3s so at some point I will download a better music player for now I am enjoying Pandora.  Visual voicemail I will never pay for an app for that.  I may use Google Voice at some point.  But really that is about it.  Oh well I guess I will deal with it.

The bloatware (preinstalled apps mainly the verizon garbage apps like navigator) and the fact that verizon blocks certain apps from being installed on my phone is why i really regret renewing my contract. <Comment removed per the .> Google wallet was one of the main reasons i upgraded my device but verizon blocks it so it can later force their version (Isis) on us like they do every other application. Why pay for services you get for free from google? I.e. Google maps vs Verizon navigator.
