Occasionally I get a message - tab limit exceeded. I can't seem to figure out how to close apps. I find I have tons of open screens and and most do not have a close or exit option. I can get out of them by going to home, but that leaves them open in the background. Suggestions?

Swipe them away? This should be covered in the full online manual.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

use the back button. Don't bother hitting home. Just because you see them in the recent apps button doesn't mean they are still running. Constantly removing cached processes kills more battery throughout the day than leaving them cached.
