I returned my HTC Incredible due to the Exchange ActiveSync password headache 9as explained here: http://www.androidcentral.com/quick-app-lockpicker).
It appears to work on the Hero with 2.1 - does anyone have the Lock Picker app working on the Incredible with a password-enabled ActiveSync email account?
I don't want to go through the headache of buying the phone and setting everything up just to find out the app doesn't work on the phone (it already doesn't work on the Moto Droid or Milestone).
I have an HTC Incredible with the ActiveSync password issue. I downloaded and installed "lockpicker" (a free app), and it resolved the issue for me. No more password requirement.
I installed it on the HTC Droid, works great.
Yeah, I hated that lock also. I installed the lockpicker application that says it only works on the HTC Sense on my Incredible and it works like a charm. You may want to put a quick lock application on after the fact so you only have to slide bar to open the phone.
