i have a note 4 and have the 2 apps vz navi and maps. now i understand they both take data. but the vz nav you have to subscribe plus use your data.
that does not sit well with me...
the way i would look at that would be. myself buying a gps / navigation for a 100 bucks and not have any ties to any kind of services that run the navi.
can someone fill me in, it doesnt make sense!!!
what is the difference with MAPS vs VZ NAVI, beside google owns MAPS?

You have summed it pretty much already. One is a Verizon Wireless service and the other Google.
Personally I disabled VZ Navigator app as quickly as possible every time I setup a different phone.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Verizon will find anyway to make money. I'm starting to think that. Verizon thinks we are idiots. Especially with this Edge programs. No matter what their making money. Just my opinion.
