On the Droid X and X2, there was, I believe, an app (or maybe a widget, but I don't think so) called "News and Weather". It is a great simple app offering news from several sources on news from the US, world, business, science, and entertainment sources (and a sports sources as well, but that's not a big interest to me). And there was, as the name of the app impies, a page on local weather conditions.
But this app has not been included on the Droid Bionic. I remember, at one point, finding this app somewhere and downloading it to the Original Moto Droid a couple of years ago. Naturally, I can't remember where I got it.
Does anyone know where it can be found? Or possibly moved from th X?
Thanx for any help..

Actually if the app was preinstalled you may not be able to backup system apps because of restrictions.. Plus if the OS is different you may run into issues loading it onto another device..
Gerio please check PM...

you could back it up to the sd card on the X with my backup pro and then restore it to the bionic, i believe. it was preinstalled on your previous phones? it may have been a motorola app or widget (it sounds more like a widget) that they no longer use.

It was included on the phone, I'll fire up the X2 when I get home and see what happens.
