One of the Android system's biggest drawbacks IMO is the insistence by Google that you run all your information (calendar, contacts, etc.) through their cloud in order to communicate between the phone and your computer. There is no direct "sync" software for Outlook information. However, you can use Google Calendar Sync to copy appointments between your phone and MS Outlook (no idea whether it will work with Outlook Express, though; it does NOT work with Outlook for Mac). Contacts you can import through Gmail - copy them from your computer into Gmail and they will appear on your phone.
Tasks, so far as I know, will not transfer.

MyPhoneExplorer from http://www.fjsoft.at/en/ will allow you to sync calendar and contacts from Outlook. No idea if it'll work on OE though. It will also sync with Windows Contacts in Windows 7.
You can also setup custom file sync jobs or just copy files back and forth from the PC to the phone.

Hello,
Thank you Community Members for posting troubleshooting tips and suggestion. It is very much appreciated.
If I'm not mistaken, the latest update to the Windows XP Operating System is the Service Pack 4. You will first want to make sure all of the latest updates are installed on your computer.
For technical support recommendations, we need to know which Droid device you have.
We look forward to seeing your response.
Enjoy the weekend.

There is no Service Pack 4 for Windows XP. Service Pack 3 is the latest SP.
