Problem with update

Can't update new version of clash of clans and it says device not compatible.

What device are you using?  Try uninstalling the entire app (save game data if possible) and reinstall.

Clash of Clans is one of my favorite apps, I want to be sure we get to the bottom of this in no time. I just want to dig a little bit deeper here, where are you going to download the application? Is this happening on Wifi or the cellular network? What device are you currently using?

Tried on Wi-Fi and network. Phone is droid LTE 4G.

There are many "Droid" phones and most all use the 4G LTE network.
