Pandora has a "favorites" so I use it to mark my fave songs, but how do I get the list back to play the song i just chose as "favorite"???
You can't.
Pandora uses the favorites list to help it select similar songs to play. You cannot play a particular song nor replay a song. Pandora has absolute control of what you hear. Your favorites only help Pandora create a selection.
It is a means by which Pandora learns your musical tastes. Over time it will become adept at picking songs that match your musical tastes. However, it doesn't take into effect your mood. The best way to control that is by picking the right station. That is iffy however, because it seems to pick songs on each station based on your musical tastes and the time period of the station you selected. Aerosmith and Queen are great because they cover such a broad range. You get some great music on those stations if you like Rock.
Pandora does not pay the licensing fees required to allow you to play songs on demand.
