Hey, watch this.

". The creator of the phone. I don't know how to ahem, activate that mode otherwise. You could try to get the best of the phone. I don't know how to ahem, activate that mode otherwise. You could try to get the best of the phone. I don't know how to ahem, activate that.... " and so on...

That's what happens when I long press the space key. What's that about?

I am guessing that at one point you enter the wrong word and the keyboard remember what you have typed before and tried to auto complete for you, try clearing the saved dictionary or see if there is a way to just remove that entry from the dictionary..

It is a definite pattern that clearing the dictionary should resolve.

Depends on the browser you are using and remember you have to do the post in HTML format because the other methods wont work.... Most of my post are done from my device because I tend to jump on the forums while waiting for a push to finish.

Gerio, go into the SwiftKey keyboard settings > Advanced > "Spacebar will..." and change the settings from "always insert a prediction" to one of the other options.

I didn't see the behavior you were describing until I changed this setting to the "always insert a prediction". I had my setting set at "complete the current word" for my typing style.

Thanks, Wildman. You should have seen the auto-generated message it created when I changed the setting to try and duplicate the behavior Gerio was describing. I decided to spare the forum readers.

Oh yeah, I had a couple of those when I was using the beta version. One of them was definitely a "spare the forum " string of words, LOL.

Someone coding that stuff is a twisted soul, :smileyhappy:)

I had to ditch SwiftKey X. I loved it for a while but it would NOT hold my Alt key command for anything. I contacted the Dev and it's a quirk with my phone Droid2 apparently. *sigh*  I use my physical keyboard all the time. When trying to key in the number 1, you have to key in Alt + the Q key. Well, I'd get the exclamation point instead. LOL.  It was wonky. Before the GB update, I went to FlexT9 which is a pretty good replacement keyboard really. After the GB update though, I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the new "stock" GB one.
