Hi, all,

Just curious of what your favorite Twitter app for the Blackberry is right now, for those of you that use Twitter.   I have tried most all of them and as of now I am using RIM's Twitter app.  It seems to work pretty good.  I do have an iPod Touch and have TweetDeck mobile installed and that is a really great program.  Just wanted to get your opinions on what you use.

JB,

Thanks for your look at "all things Twitter."  I found a website called Twitdom.com that lists all sorts of applications for Twitter, not just for the Blackberry.  There are more applications than you can shake a stick at, as we say here in Mississippi.  Just curious, I know from my personal experience, Twittering seems, for some folks, to fall to the side after a few months.  I know that I don't use the Twitter apps on my device as much.  In fact, it has been a few weeks since I even posted on Twitter.  I am just wondering how most other folks feel.  For me, as far as social media goes, I use Blackberry Messenger a lot.  Obviously, it is a different social media program, but I love staying in touch with my friends, most of whom have a Blackberry.  Anyways, I just wanted to point out that website, which is at www.twitdom.com and makes for some interesting reading about Twitter programs.

I have tried a lot of Twitter apps for BlackBerry. To name a few:

* UberTwitter - http://www.ubertwitter.com/

* Twitter for BlackBerry - in the App World

* OpenBeak (formally Twitterberry) - http://www.orangatame.com/products/openbeak/

* TweetGenius- http://tg1.beejive.com/

* SocialBeat - http://iskoot.com/products/social-beat

* SocialScope -  http://www.socialscope.net/

My favoriate is socialscope with UberTwitter being a very close second. I like socialscope beause it also allows access to other social media accounts like Facebook, FourSquare, and Flickr. The only thing I don't really like about the BlackBerry app from RIM is no geo/location tagging.

I don't twit. So maybe I am missing out. I have no twit apps either. I only use FB and BBM.

I don't tweet to much. Most of the time I just view updates from news and technology. It's a pretty good tool to use for finding out information sometimes. When I our email provider is having issues, they will usually update there twitter status.
