Just installed the latest Geek Gear and thus completed the final stage of assemling the ultimate phone.
Pros-
Works off of cellphone towers, so you can start it anywhere in North America
Comes with road side assistence
Has a "command recieved" two way feedback, so you know the car actually recieved the command
User friendly app with large/simple buttons
Can be installed with no additional fee on multiple phones
Cons-
$400 for hardware and install
$50 a year for service!
$100 for an actual key FOB
$50 to hook up doors and $50 more for the trunk... LOL, see a trend?
App is a little slow
Bottom Line-
The stories told in our parent Sci-Fi books have become a reality, and the geeks of the world rejoice "atleast the ones with money to blow". Although Viper decided to nickel and dime every cranny and feature of this wonderful app, it's worth every penny when when you show it off to your friends, family, and coworkers. Although most people wont need to start there car from 3 thousand miles away, it sure is cool to know you can. Plus the assurance that your car will actually start when you tell it to is of course the biggest selling point. If you are going to get a remote starter for your car anyway, why not go with the best. But if you allready have a remote starter, or if youre on a budget, this is a luxury for someone else.
Highly recommended. 4.5 / 5

About 10 years ago I installed Viper's 2-way auto-start/alarm. I was pretty happy with it aside from the fact that the keyfobs were so cheap. I'll have to take a look at this.
