downloading apps to sd card?

Hi,

Is there a way to download the apps straight to the memory card, instead of the phone? Is that possible?

If not, is there a way to drag them onto the card after downloading?

Android 2.2 has that capability and it isn't released yet. 

 

 

 

I heard something weird along those lines.  It was said that GOOGLE was sending 2.2 to a few Droids as a test.  Is it coming straight from Google now?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?  If so how freaking awesome is that.  They are still saying end of July-ish for the full OTA these are just tests like they did for the N1 last month but cool none the less.

ha yeah I read something about it getting sent to a select number of droids.  It's apparently also available now to "special" users
