Good call, I've heard about that but never really looked into it. Next time I have to change my number I'll have to remember that.

Unless you have a real good reason to download and use a task killer, I wouldn't recommend it. If you are running apps, that does not necessarily mean that they are currently using resources. Killing them only makes them turn back on, and then the game goes on in circles until your battery dies. Better to play a game you can win -- like Angry Birds.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Let me ask you all a question. WHY DO YOU USE AN APP KILLER?!
seriously... unless you have a ERIS or ALLY or some other budget android... why do you use it?
bcz it saves battery? HARDLY... please elaborate bcz I assume your just repeating some vzw store reps misguided advice
bcz it frees up memory? who told you that you dont have enough memory?? Linux is not windows. It manages memory fine. It doesnt need a human to "try" and help. You are probably killing services too, not apps, you know those things that pop back up immediately after killing them...
killing all of your apps hurts more than it helps.
If you have a droid x, incredible, fascinate, droid 2 there is no reason to use an app killer.
unless youre a dev and are using unstable apps or apps not in the market there is no need.
PLEASE TELL ME WHY you want a task killer!?!?!??!?!
