I dont use a mobile phone since 2006, last one I had had a green background and black letters so I really dont know what to get.
I live in Portugal, Europe so my mobile operators might be incompatible or something, I dont know and I'd like to know about that. What I realy need in this mobile is that it access the internet from wherever I am, either through my mobile operator or, preferably, through wireless networks. Also would like to know if it can access the internet without a mobile operator, just through wireless.

Verizon doesn't provide service in Portugal and the phones that are available overseas are often substantially different from offerings here in the United States.
You should check out the selection of mobile phones available from a provider in your country and then read reviews online to make a decision.
