Android 12 Draining Battery -- Samsung Galaxy s10e

Ever since my Samsung Galaxy S10e updated to Android 12 (1/21/22), my battery drains at a rate 3 or 4 times faster than what it did prior to the update.  I know Pixels had this problem with Android 12, too.

What is going on here?  Is there anything I can do other than wait for a fix from Android?

Oh, forgot to mention -- I have run the troubleshooter and all is well, no apps running in the background (phone also drains when left alone all night).  I have turned off Location and haptic feedback and have my phone now set to power saving.  I shouldn't have to do this, but I have.

KKFletcher, making sure your device battery is reliable is important. allow us the opportunity to review the details. Are you still using the original charger that came with your device? Also, can you please confirm that all of your apps are updated?

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes, I am using the Samsung charger that came with my phone.

As for whether all my apps are updates ... how do I check that easily?

I've looked at the links you sent and have responses for the first 2:

1) There is no "Optimize Battery Usage" selection in Special Access menu listing under Applications setting.  However there was an Optimize option under Battery and Device Care.  I have used this several times since I started having battery issues, and did so again today.  I have "Put unused apps to sleep" set to yes.

2) I have reviewed the apps used since last full charge -- none were more than 22 minutes (Chrome).  I have put my phone on Power Save, turned off Location, and turned off vibration.  I am sitting at 12% battery life after a cumulative 142 minutes of usage.

I appreciate your help -- but I don't really want to remain on Power Save with no Location or Vibration.  Since this started with Android 12 download, I feel like that has to be related.
