Anyone know why talk to text in messenger went away?

My talk to text in my messenger is gone from my keyboard screen.  I can do the microphone that I have to constantly hold but that and pictures just sit in sending mode.

That sounds like something got corrupted within your operating system. First, if possible, yank out the battery for a few minutes. Let it restart and see if the missing functionality is restored. If not, backup everything and reinstall your operating system. Fresh start.
