Can't find out how to close out an app when I am finished with it... simple things, like closing the browser, email, texting, etc...
Not finding the robo tutorials all that useful.

Purpose in closing apps - increase battery life

To close an apps, if you have ICS, tap on the menu key and then on Settings. Tap on apps. If you still have GB, click on the menu key, then Settings>Applications>Manage Apps. Go to each apps you want to close and tap on Force Close. There are some third party apps that will close apps for you, but most of them eat up more battery power than they're worth. I must also caution you that some of these apps that you force close will reopen themselves.

While in the app, try holding the back button down for two seconds. This will close the app, not just hide it. (May not work in all iterations of android os)
