Okay, I am eligible for an upgrade and I want to get the B1G1 Free promotion for the Droid Eris. But my second phone is not eligible until March and so it will not give me my free phone when I place the order online. Why can't Verizon give me the free phone and let me activate it in March?
Because there is a 2-yr activation/contract required per phone, as stated in the ad.
