Has anyone else went through 3 or more Galaxy S4's due to overheating with frying a SD card and constant battery drain?
I am thankful that my phone is under warranty and able to get sent out a like new device but still having same issue. Not only all this going on but now my charging port is damaged. Verizon's advice, "Do a factory data reset". Really??? A reset is going to fix my charging port? So I called on Wednesday to get this issue fixed and 10 minutes after doing the factory reset my phone got so hot that it shut down and could not power up for a full 3 hours. Called back on Thursday was told we will get you a device sent out overnight, you should have it Friday. No order info in my account so I call back and speak to 4 different reps. a device is being sent out today so I should get it Monday. One rep even said lets get you a loaner phone until yours comes in, so they call my local stores only to be told that per corporate Verizon no longer participates in the loan a phone program. Ugh!! Did suggest that if I have a landline then we could forward my calls to it. Well, sir, if I am at home then that would be all fine and good but what about when I have to leave my house and the sitter is not able to get in touch with me because they call my cell and it rings my house, where they are already? I have family with health concerns where I must be in contact with someone and a phone that will not charge and overheats to the point of shutting down. Really frustrated with the customer service. They do however keep trying to push a 20GB more everything plan that would cost more than I am paying now and to upgrade my line with UNLIMITED DATA, no thank you.
