I think it is a virus or a scam of some kind, saying it needs to update modem security credentials. How do I get rid of it. The address is WG.frontier.com. I am either redirected to this or I get the security message saying someone may be trying to steal info.please help.

Do you use Frontier for your home Internet?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Yes. Is this a legit request? It's asking for my account number and pin.

Possible. I would contacting Frontier directly for assistance with their router and Internet customer service.

Verizon sold all of it's internet and home based phone system to Frontier. Employees are reporting that Verizon took all related software and related customer information, sounds ludicrous but many of my neighbors are reporting problems. It is chaos to many people ...if true, this was very unprofessional of Verizon.
