Can I bring an unlocked Galaxy J7 (2017) to Verizon? NOT the Verizon Galaxy J7 V.

(Trying to distinguish variants of this phone is beyond maddening.  I will do my best to be as clear as possible based on what I think I know.)

I'm looking to get three people their first smartphones.  I've determined that Galaxy J7 series is around the ballpark of what they need.

Verizon offers the Galaxy J7 V.  Note the V; the V changes everything.  That phone was released on March 23, 2017.

This is the Galaxy J7 V: https://www.phonearena.com/phones/Samsung-Galaxy-J7-V_id10477

You can also buy unlocked a Galaxy J7 (2017).  No V.  That phone was released on July 1, 2017.

This is that phone: https://www.phonearena.com/phones/Samsung-Galaxy-J7-2017_id10394

The J7 (2017) specs are way better across the board compared to the J7 V.  The J7 (2017)'s screen is notably better with 1080p resolution.  The J7 V only has 720p resolution.

I want to buy the J7 (2017) unlocked for my three people and bring it to Verizon. Can I do it? Does it have the proper radios and whatever else to be brought on to Verizon's network?  This is the sort of stuff about phones I don't understand well enough.

As I've said, I haven't bought these phones yet.  Thus, I don't have the IMEI, ESN, or MEID necessary to use this page: https://www.verizonwireless.com/prospect/bring-your-own-device

I just want an educated opinion if it's likely that this will work.  If it's likely, I'll order one of the phones, check the IDs, and send it back if it doesn't work, but I'd like to avoid the hassle of that if possible.  Thank you.

...

Oh, geez, kill me.  I just checked before submitting, and now Verizon has a "Galaxy J7 V 2nd Gen" up in their store, scheduled for release in three days. (https://www.verizonwireless.com/smartphones/samsung-galaxy-j7-v-2nd-gen/)  I'm not finding clear information on it around the internet.  I can't do any more research on this, or I'll go insane.  If anyone has any thoughts/info on how this compares to the J7 (2017), I'd appreciate it.  Right now, though, I'm still planning on going with the J7 (2017) if I can make it work.  Thank you.

No, that won't work. The J7 unlocked 2017 doesn't have radios installed to access to the CDMA & LTE bands used by Verizon

Agreed. It isn't compatible with the Verizon Wireless network.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Where did you get that that's clearly not US model of any kind. That's not going to work a on any carrier. No band 2, 4 or 13 that Verizon uses. No band 2,4 or 12 that t-mobile uses, No band 2,4 17 that at&t uses. Also Verizon just released the 2018 version for the J7v. It's only $240 so you might was well get that one.
