I lost my pictures from my SD card.  Can they be retrieved?

I'd suggest doing an internet search for memory card recovery software.

PhotoRec can help recover this information. Do not save anything else to the SD Card or format it, to prolong the chances of recovery. Do not save the recovered photos to the SD card until all data has been recovered:

To use this tool, you will likely need to insert the SD Card into an SD Card reader plugged into your computer. The tool won't be able to access the SD card while it is inserted into the phone.
