Can I use an international phone on verizon?

Hi all,

I want to buy a sony z3 in Asia and am planning to use it in the US. I'm a long time verizon customer.

The specs  are"GSM850, GSM900, HSDPA, HSUPA, GSM1900, WCDMA, FDD-LTE 700(B28), FDD-LTE 900(B8), FDD-LTE 1800(B3)".

Will that work on verizon's network? thanks.

From the specs you gave, y     the phone does not have the CDMA radios required to be even possibly compatible with VZW. So no, you can't use that phone on the Verizon Wireless network.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Hi Joe0428!

Thanks for the information about the device you purchased! We don't offer the Z3 currently, so you may not be able to use it. You can check here to see if the device can be used:

Please keep in mind that we have a wide array of devices to choose from, in case the one you have cannot be used. You can check them out here, and even compare up to 5 at once:
