About a month ago, I was having issues with receiving texts from a single person in my contacts list. I could send texts to him all day and he received them. However, reversed, he could send to me and see that messages were successfully sent, but I never got one. I did take it to a Verizon Wireless store and they ended up performing a hard reset. This seemed to help for about a week, then it started all over again. (I could receive texts from other people all day long, no problems.)
Last week, group texts I sent were not going through. They'd kick back as "Message not sent".
A few days ago, I stopped receiving texts altogether, even though I was sending them.
I went back to the store and this time they replaced my SIM card. I did a test: I texted all the people I had trouble with, in groups and individually. I received texts back from them each, except the -same- person I originally had the issue with in receiving. I was told to go through tech support for this issue if it rose up again, and well, here it is, only a couple of hours later.
This is highly concerning because what alerted me to this problem is the fact that my husband was in a motorcycle wreck and I never got his text. He is the person I cannot receive from.
Please help. I've run through the steps on the site given for this issue and nothing has resolved my problem.

When you refer to text is that just text data? Or with an attachment as a photo for example included with the text message?
The reason I'm asking that is. Some people have Verizon service but do not have text messaging with there plan. So what a lot of them do is get a program online that gives them the ability to text back and forth unlimited to a Verizon phone. However they cannot send or receive any attachment no matter what size, from within a text message.
And they send and receive from a tablet or computer whether laptop or desktop. So find out if this is the case or applies. It is a possibility where all your text messaging seems fine except for one person you're sending too.
It is only text, no photos or attachments included with it. He uses only
his smartphone to send texts as he has a messaging plan with Verizon. We
both have messaging plans with our contract.
