Cannot send or receive text messages on Pantech Breakout

I cannot send or receive text messages on my pantech breakout. Anyone know the solution

There could be many reasons - and you've given us no clues.  Let me ask you some questions that may help us find a solution:

• Is this a new phone, or a new account?
• Did you recently port your number to Verizon from another carrier?
• Did you recently change your plan?
• Have you been able to send and receive text messages, with this phone or another Verizon phone?

A few background details will help.

Thanks Suzy, Spoke with a Verizon rep. They had "accidentally" put a text block on my line while they were making changes to my account. All is well.

Awesome!  well, the fact that they "accidentally" blocked texting was not so awesome, but that it was a relatively easy fix, and that all is well NOW, is awesome!  Thanks for letting us know!
