Casio gzone commando unable to reply to group text message.

when I receive a text message sent to a group, I can't tell who the recipients are, and I can only respond to the one who sent it to the group, and not the entire group.  I can hold down on the text message and that brings up additional options like delete and forward. but no reply to group.

the model of the phone is casio c771.  android version 2.3.3 

any help appreciated.

  Could the group message being sent, be in bbc Blind Carbon Copy?

I don't think so, since all the other recipients in the group are all able to reply to the group.

I'm constantly getting asked why I don't reply to the group.

That's definitely concerning that you aren't able to reply to these group messages! Does the message show a list of everyone who it was sent to? Do you have data on when doing this?

No, I don't see a way to display who else the text was sent to.  Data is on, I am able to browse the web ok.

  So it doesn't appear to be bcc blind carbon copy. I'm on KitKat 4.4.4 so this will be just taking a guess in settings?

In KitKat messaging settings there is a preference for Group Messaging so you might want to see if you have that in android version 2.3.3. Also are these people in your contact list? If so can you click on the contact then Settings, then Sharing and choose Messaging?

Mine does same thing. Can send short reply sometimes.
