I'm going back to school this fall & am looking to lower my verizon bill as much as possible. I currently have a droid x that freeze all the time, so I was going to downgrade to an alias 2. If I switch phones, which would delete the $30/month data plan, would it affect my contract end date?
no your contract end date will remain the same. Just know that you'll lose the unlimited data if you currently have it and later decide you want to activate a smartphone again.
