My data usage is very high. Went from 75% to 90% in less than a day. Have not had this problem before.

if you get fb/twitter updates & reply or watch videos or play games, it takes data if you're not using wi-fi.
How much is in your data plan. It is not hard to 1.5 GB in a day, all depends on what you are doing. Each phone usually has place where you can see what apps are using data.
