I would like a radio widget, but not if it eats up my data (i only have 2g limit)

They use data if not connected to wi-fi. Most decent radio apps are 128kbps - 192 kbps. That's 56 MB - 84 MB an hour. So that's 24-36 hours of streaming per month to use 2 GB. Spotify premium uses up to 320 kbps. That's less than 15 hours per month to use 2 GB. Something like ESPN Radio app uses well under 50 Kbps. So yeah use wi-fi when you can.

What exact 'radio widget' are you speaking of?
I know my Thunderbolt has an FM app. When you plug in earbuds, you can use the app to listen to stations nearby that the antenna can pickup.
If any other app, Pandora, Tune-In, IHeartRadio, etc all use data.

Yes, they do. All streaming music apps use up data, not only radio.

Hi tamra9. I always use wifi to use tunein radio on my droid inc 4g. I have mobile network turned off. No data usage at all.
