they gave the heads up and links that the froyo update fot the Ally was available today from LG.
You need the lg updater tool. Available from the above link.
You must put your phone on modem mode for this to work. Apps/development/usb debugging.
It was flawless. I ran into problems after I restored a backup of my apps.
{word filter avoidance} everything up. Did a factory reset.
Installed every from scratch and all is golden,Many ui's have a new better look.
Email is very nice
