Droid 3 Unresponsive

A few hours ago, I noticed my Droid 3 was acting weird when I tried to unlock my phone. It would act very slow and the touch screen did not seem to be as responsive as usual. Thinking it was my new live wallpaper, I changed it back to a simple wallpaper and left the phone alone for a few hours. When I checked my phone, I could not turn the screen on at all. I did a hard reset and turned it back on. After turning on, my wallpaper was completely black, the unlock bars on the screen seemed mis-aligned, the screen said there was no signal even though the top bar said there was 3G available, and when my screen blacked out (went to sleep), I could not turn it back on and thus had to keep doing a hard reset. I do not know if the screen is freezing or if the touch screen is just messing up (the touch screen has no cracks). I've had my phone since August 2011 and have never had an issue with it until today. Any solutions? Thank you!

The problems you have described are very upsetting. I definitely want to get this resolved quickly for you.

Did this start after a particular application was downloaded? If you power the device in safe mode do you have the same issues? Here's a link for safe mode: http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=44874

When you say your doing a hard reset on your device are you wiping it back to the factory default settings? Here's a link for the reset: http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=44747

Was there any physical or liquid damage to the device?  If the problem keeps occurring it may be a software problem with the device. Please send me a DM with your name and mobile number to further troubleshoot.

Wow! So after doing a reset and also putting the phone in Safe Mode, it's not responding? Have you tried to plug it into an outlet or a computer to see about any response? Did you try to take out the battery fully and inspect it? Please make sure there aren't any signs of corrosion or a bad connection. Please update us if you are still needing any assistance!
