Droid 4 Keyboard shortcuts?

I just got a Droid 4,  all seems to work similar to the Original droid that I had.  The issue that I have is with the slide out keyboard.... some of the keys enter the respective character and others are acting like one touch shortcut keys.... I cant seem to find how to disable this....  ex...  the "G" key opens up gmail... when pressed instead of typing the letter G..

YOu go under settings.keyboard&Shortcuts.and disable.

Ok,  actually found the way to fix my problem....     settings  ..  applications....quick launch..... then disable all the individual keys.....  this is the first phone that I have had that came preset with the keys to work from the factory....
