I went through the steps to unregister my number from iMessage, but it had never been registered so unfortunately that's not it. And I just downloaded the most recent update with no success!! Still just waiting for the solution which may be to change phones or carriers or both. Help!!!

I was using the basic messenger that came with b the phone but v then read somewhere that the Verizon messenger program would solve my issue (which it didn't) so I am using messenger +.
