I purchased the HTC imagio about 2 weeks ago. I like some things about it. Dislike others. I'm seriously considering returning it and paying the $35 to get a DROID. My question is which one......Droid or ERIS? I'm leaning towards the Droid because of the Qwerty Slider and the flash. However, I like the size of the ERIS.
DROID Pros:
Qwerty Slider
Camera Flash
Android 2.0
16gb micro SD
ERIS Pros:
Form Factor
Form Factor
Form Factor
????
It looks like I answered my own question. However, before I take the DROID plunge, anyone have any compelling reasons I should pick the ERIS for the form factor?

You should try to search the forum for these types of answers, but I'll help out anyway
The Eris runs on HTC Sense's UI. That means that it's basically surrounded around you, the user, and what you think/feel is important to you. The Sense UI has themes that you can apply for certain times of day (Work, Play, ETC), and is completely customizable for you to control.
It runs on Android 1.5, but HTC is diligiently working on getting it to 2.0 ASAP.
It's touchscreen, and works wonderfully from my testing (I've tested the actual Hero, Sprints, and the Eris).
Has a native Facebook-to-contact Sync which is handy.

For me it's the Eris. I don't need the real keyboard and the Sense UI blows the UI of the Droid away.

The UI on the Hero/Eris, the Sense UI, is absolutely beautiful, I can't lie. However, I prefer hardware over the UI of the phone (Believe me, I've been through many Android phones).

IMHO the hardware keyboard on the motorola sucks. The software keyboard in landscape is much easier and smoother to use.

If you like the look of the htc- there are ways to get that look on the droid. I think the app "beautiful widgets" 1 and 2 can mimic the htc as well as other themes out there.

It's not just the way it looks, it the way way it functions. The Droid hardware specs are nice but the fact that it runs HQ video has a lot to do with that. I have no need for HQ video. Don't get me wrong, the Droid is awesome, but the size, weight and functionality of the Droid is what I need.
That beign said, I hope tha Passion is announced soon. If not, I'll get the Eris.

You can always, always, always watch videos in Normal quality. You just press Menu>More>then Watch in Normal Quality in the Youtube Video. I also think you added one too many "Droids" there.
Both are great phones, they really are, and as long as you get the one that you like, then that's all that matters
