Hello, Is it possible to transfer my e-mail addresses from my home computer to my LG ALLY ? Thanks in advance.
What type of email account do you have? Are you trying to setup email on your phone or transfer contacts from your computer to your device?
I just got an LG Ally and am trying to set up to get my verizon.net emails. I keep getting the following error whether I just use the normal setup, or the manual setup. What am I doing wrong??
"Setup could not finish. username or password incorrect"
The username and password I input is my normal Verizon signin that I always use for my email on my home laptop.
I am somewhat confused in that I view my email actually in "verizon yahoo" so is this LG Ally email setup asking for my verizon or yahoo userid and password???
I solved this myself.
Since I have verizon.net email but use Yahoo to manage the email, the incoming and outgoing servers are:
incoming.yahoo.verizon.net
outgoing.yahoo,verizon.net
Use the Manual setup to enter the above.
Use defaults for all other entries.
Start a new topic or ask questions in the open forum.
