Email sync issue

I have 2 android devices one being and LG G3 everything up to date and a Moto Droid Maxx also everything up to date. All of a sudden on both phones my emails are not auto syncing to the phones like they used too. the g3 is set to update every 5 mins and the maxx set to 15. I either have to power cycle the phones or go into the settings to manual sync all the accounts. Emails still hit my apple devices as normal.

Is this an issue going on right now with email accounts on the android platform? Why all of the sudden did this start on two separate devices?
