Error message "Recording in progress in another app. Cannot record" Xperia Z3v

When "OK Google " from any screen is active I get the above message. was wondering if there is a fix besides turning if off?

Wait for Google to fix their recent update. It happens to the Z3 as well, and some other non Sony devices like the LG G3.
