Every time I try charging my Note 3 I get an error message: To charge faster, use the cable and device that were provided with this phone.  What is the solution?  The cable is fine and is the original charger!

Thanks for the additional information ms_note3user! I had a similar experience after the software update and I was able to resolve with a hard reset http://vz.to/1lWXqsc please give it a try. Make sure to UNCHEK Automatic Reset at step 3.

I took it to a store last week and they said it has something to do with the last software update. They tried charging it at the store and got the same message. There hasn't been any physical or water damage to my phone. The only way I can get it to hold a charge is by using my car charger. The other two chargers (and the one at the Verizon store) gave me the same message.

I think Samsung messed-up on their software update!!!  And are covering their A's now!!!!  Never had a problem till this last software update!!!  Slow charging to error messages to use the cable and device that were provided with the phone!!!  How about send a patch update to fix their mistake!!!!!!
