Ok, so I wiped the cache partition on my HTC Thunderbolt and I as still not receiving all my text messages, the smart phone is extremely slow and it takes for ever to do anything, currently using Android version 4.0.4 Software version 7.02.605.1070RD. What do I need to do to fix this problem? I depend on my smartphone for work and for the care of other people and I need to get those texts in case of an emergency. Thanks for your help in advance!

As you have already cleared the entire cache partition, the next step to seek resolution would be a factory reset to clear an corruptions.
