DennisL1954- - Providing you the assistance you deserve is our number one priority. When did the issue begin? Any water/physical damage to device? Having a device that gets warm is normal. A device may become warm when you are charging it, you are using it for extended period of time, or when you are connected to Wi-Fi. If your device gets too hot to handle, please take it to a Verizon wireless corporate store along with the chargers you use as soon as possible.Check out our store locator. http://vz.to/1bUtDMJ

How hot is it getting?

120 is like the top limit.  Which phone model do you have? How often is it doing the high temps? How long?  What functions are you performing that might be causing it?  Is it while the phone is charging or provide directions or something else?
