How can I download to the SD card on my Galaxy J7V?

It doesn't seem to be an option with this phone that I've been able to find, I've heard there's a way to get around it but if there is I haven't been able to find any details. Failing that, is there a way to upgrade the internal storage? I have 10 GB internal but right from the start almost 5GB was used by the system and "essential" apps that can't be deleted, which makes it extremely hard to download or update things.

Talien, being without storage can definitely limit your device activity, so I am happy to help. Since the internal storage is built into the device, the only way to expand this would be with a SD card and/or transferring your content onto a Cloud platform or computer. Which method are you interested in?

The first step will be checking your memory and seeing what exactly is occupying your space. What breakdown of the categories are you seeing? I ask because apps cannot be backed up or stored on either method. Check Memory: http://spr.ly/6586EPhSM

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy J7 V has the ability to store a MicroSD up to 256GB. Insert SD / Memory Card: http://spr.ly/6588EPhSO Once a SD card is stored, here are the steps on how to move files from an internal storage to a SD card: http://spr.ly/6580EPhSu

Right, I forgot to mention I have a 128 GB SD card. I've moved all the apps that would allow it onto the external card, but whenever any of them update they update to the internal storage and I have to move them to the external card manually.

I've looked at my internal storage but it just plain doesn't show what is taking up half the available space. Even when I turned it on for the first time there was only a little over 6 GB available out of 10 GB, it has a bunch of stuff I'll never use but it won't let me delete any of it, only clear the cache and data but then it all auto updates and I end up right back where I started.

@Talien Being able to manage your storage is essential. Are you able to see what is consuming the most storage? Most of the time it is the software that will take up a few GB.
